The Trinidad Renaissance School teachers are University trained and qualified. The Renaissance team regularly attends training and development courses throughout the year. All staff are trained in the Renaissance philosophy and are supported by an international body of experience and knowledge.
The Trinidad Renaissance School constantly makes efforts to update its Library facilities and Resource center. With an onsite lending library for all students coupled with several “take a book leave a book” exchange centers in place, we create a healthy reading culture within the school. We also expanded our Library to our online platform with over 6000 digital books now available to our students. Additionally, our Resource Center also provides a lending resource library for our teachers to encourage and support ongoing professional development.
Our program seeks to provide a well-balanced day. Providing nourishment for all aspects of the child’s development. Students engage daily in the core subject areas, punctuated with physical activities that include swimming and gymnastics. The students regularly participate in the visual and performing arts that include weekly music sessions with options in pan and violin. At Renaissance, we also include values and moral education rooted in the philosophical foundation of the school.
Renaissance is locally registered as a non-profit independent institution. We are also registered with the Ministry of Education providing quality pre and primary education for the children of Trinidad and Tobago.
At Renaissance, we value the need for healthy minds and bodies. Physical nourishment and development are provided for in several ways. Our physical program offers Gymnastics, Swimming, Cricket, and Archery as well as a healthy meal daily.
Renaissance is known for High Academic excellence. Our students not only consistently perform at the National SEA exams, but they are also known for good character and values. Students of Renaissance entering Secondary School are known to be focused and well mannered.
