Renaissance Online Resources
At Renaissance we continually work to meet the needs of our students. In March 2020 with the sudden closure of Schools throughout Trinidad and Tobago, Renaissance literally moved overnight to 100% online classes. Hosted on our Platform all students moved online to virtual classrooms. As a result none of our students loss a single day of school.
Renaissance Platform
With Renaissance Online School, all students can access their virtual classroom, and attend face to face sessions with their class teachers. Parents can access their child’s class and assignments, view on going work and progress reports in real time, check on attendance and pay fees via the platform. With all out Zoom classrooms embedded within the platform, there is no need to enter codes or links. The student once signed on to our platform can directly enter the virtual classroom. All work including handout, worksheets, test papers are on the platform and can be accessed anytime.
Using their Renaissance Student ID, all students can login to their classroom portal directly, access their assignments, submit completed work view their reports and ongoing performance as well as attend their face to face sessions with their class teachers.
In the virtual classroom, students can view the classroom discussion board, access their daily schedule/ timetable, go directly to each subject area accessing all the resources related to that subject.
DIscovery Education
The Discovery and Matific platforms offers a ‘breadth and depth of digital media content that is immersive, engaging and brings the world into the classroom’. As teachers, we are able to monitor student growth and tailor to the student’s academical needs. Visual learners, for example, have a greater chance of remembering information that is presented to them in the form of graphics. Both of these platforms provide very engaging graphics and more importantly it is informative and fun!

Renaissance is a partner with Discovery making available high quality digital resources for our students and teachers. Using the same login credentials as their classroom all staff and students can access the Discovery portal to attend additional classes and assignments.
Discovery Education Coding
With Discovery Education Coding, all Renaissance students will gain a secure understanding of coding concepts like algorithms, sequences and variables – as well as developing computational thinking skills through decomposition, logical reasoning and problem-solving. And, best of all, pupils and teachers alike will be able to demonstrate their creativity by creating their own apps and sharing them with their classmates and colleagues.

Using their Renaissance Student ID all our students have access to Renaissance online Library with over 6ooo books to choose from. With the latest advancement in technology reading can be targeted to meet the specific level of each child.
All students at Renaissance have access to the Star Assessment including Renaissance Early Literacy.
